An ONE DAY CHESS TOURNAMENT has been organised by 19th BURDWAN SISHU MELA. The tournament has been completed in collaboration with East Burdwan District Chess Association and Bengal Chess Association. Mr. ANTARIP ROY, Secretary of Bengal Chess Association and Mr. ANIRBAN HAZRA, Treasurer of Bengal Chess Association were present in this tournament.
Anshuman Saha, Niharika Raut and Arin Roy bagged the first, second and third positions respectively in the said event from class 1 to class 4. Spandan Chatterjee, Taranga Chattopadhyay and Antarip Ghoshal bagged the first, second and third positions respectively in this tournament from class 4 to class 8.
Mr. ANIRBAN HAZRA extended his heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the BURDWAN SHISHU MELA authorities for organizing such a beautiful tournament among children.
