The biggest museum of Asia hosts Chess Exhibition match to celebrate the International Chess day on 20th July 2022.

BCA celebrated the International Chess Day by organizing a Simultaneous Exhibition match by former Commonwealth Chess Champion Atanu Lahiri against 24 upcoming players from Kolkata and neighboring districts of West Bengal at the Courtyard of the Heritage Indian Museum, which is the oldest and the biggest museum in India.

BCA also organized a tournament among the employees of the Indian Museum where there were twenty participants. The highlight of the event was the speech by Kanan Didi, the Regional Head of Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Meditation Centre, where she inspired the participants to practice meditation and play chess.

Prized were distributed by Antarip Roy, the Secretary of BCA, Amar Roy, the Working President of BCA, Tapan Dasgupta and Souvik Chakraborty the Vice Presidents of BCA and Abhijit Mondal, the Joint Secretary of BCA. BCA thanks the authorities of the Indian Museum for partnering BCA to organize such an event at the Grand Venue.
